Born and raised in Colorado, Emery brings a lifetime of hands-on experience, discipline, and pride in workmanship to every project he takes on. His work ethic began early—working for his family’s fireworks business as a child—where he learned the value of responsibility, teamwork, and customer service.

Throughout his teens and early career, Emery held a variety of roles that shaped his reliability and attention to detail, from delivering newspapers on tight schedules to maintaining facilities and serving customers in fast-paced restaurant environments. These experiences reinforced a simple principle that still guides his work today: quality matters, and people matter.

After graduating in 2008, Emery spent five years in the restaurant industry, working his way up to management. During that time, he developed leadership skills, learned Spanish, and gained a deep appreciation for building strong, motivated teams. He later transitioned into manufacturing and production, working with New Belgium Brewing and a plastic forming company in Berthoud, Colorado, where he contributed to large-scale projects—including components for Disney’s Avatar ride. These roles demanded precision, efficiency, and consistency at a high level.

In more recent years, Emery discovered competitive axe and knife throwing, quickly excelling and earning three world championships, along with a global ranking of 33rd. This pursuit reflects the same focus, control, and commitment to mastery that defines his professional work.

Today, Emery specializes in cabinet refinishing, combining craftsmanship with efficiency. After learning the trade at a successful local refinishing shop, he expanded his expertise by working with one of Colorado’s largest cabinet manufacturers, gaining advanced logistical strategies and industrial-level insight. The result is a process that delivers high-quality finishes with minimal disruption.
